This English translation is for convenience. If there is any discrepancy, the Traditional Chinese version prevails. Birth data is among the most sensitive information you can share; this policy explains what we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected.

What we collect

  • Chart data: birth date, time, and sex, required to compute your chart and generate a report.
  • Account and contact details: an email address, collected when you register or pay.
  • AI conversation records: the questions you send to the Ask FateWick guide, stored so the conversation stays coherent.
  • Site usage data: anonymous browsing data and advertising pixels (Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel), used to measure performance. It does not include chart data.

How the information is used

  • Birth data is used only to compute charts and generate reports.
  • Email is used to send reports, order confirmations, and essential service notices.
  • We never sell, rent, or trade chart data or conversation records to third-party data companies.

Marketing consent and opting out

  • When you leave an email address through the online guide, you agree to receive personalized emails based on that conversation.
  • You can stop these emails at any time: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, or write to cs@fatewick.com and we will remove you promptly.
  • Marketing consent does not affect reports, order confirmations, or other essential service notices.

Third-party services and cross-border processing

  • Some content is processed by third-party AI providers, which may be located outside Hong Kong. We send only the minimum data required to provide the service, and we do not sell your data. The services this site runs on are Supabase (database and sign-in), Stripe (payments), Amazon SES (email delivery), Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel (usage measurement), Google Fonts (the typefaces on the English pages), and third-party AI providers.

Data protection and security

  • Data is encrypted in transit, and chart data is stored on encrypted servers with access restricted to what the service needs.
  • To delete all personal records, including birth data and AI conversation records, write to cs@fatewick.com.

Payments

  • Paid services are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details.

Cookies

  • The site uses cookies to record anonymous browsing behavior. You can disable them in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.

Minors

  • This service is not for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you find use without a guardian's consent, contact cs@fatewick.com.

Your rights

  • You can ask us to delete all records held about you, including birth data and AI conversation records, by writing to cs@fatewick.com.

Governing law

  • This policy is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute will be submitted to the Hong Kong courts.

Changes to this policy

  • We may update this policy at any time. Significant changes will be announced prominently on the site.
